Howdy folks, got a start-and-stall condition on a 99 Astro. Computer says P1626, "Theft deterrent fuel enable signal not received". Must be Passlock problem. Ignition was smashed in twice, not sure what work was done to get this rig running. Drilled out the lock cylinder so I could crank and turn wheels. Tried disconnecting yellow wire to cylinder hall sensor, no effect. Tried Passlock reset procedure a few times. Then I notice security light is ALWAYS OFF. Passlock module was unplugged but I can't find the connector. I figure a tech bypassed Passlock somehow. Lots of wiring spaghetti under the dash.

Best path forward? (other than junkyard) Thanks friends!

update: after doing some research I determined that reflashing the ECM to remove Passlock from the programming is the best fix. Flashmasters out of Ohio says they'll do it. Will advise the forum how it goes.

Lock cylinder was only $15 with a key on eBay!
