Double Din definitely fits...I had to do a little shaving of the vanity shroud...sanded the bevel to match. I did not move the HVAC controls. I did not cut the spanning bar at the bottom. It even fit with a DD install kit to secure it. I know, I know, doesn't mean anything on this forum without pictures. I'm at work but will snap one tonight.

I'm thinking he has had to put in a lot of overtime to pay for that Double DIN kit.

i couldn't ever find an install kit for the swap so I fabricated some brackets to install the double din on top of the HVAC controls. I got the idea from someone on here. The double din was only around $150 from Walmart
