I didn't realize you were a DB geek. Wow, I've done some MSSQL in the day and based on what I've seen the UI is very um different. If you're good with MSSQL my hat is definitely off to you though, I've worked with it a few times (never when things were going right) and it can be very very um difficult to deal with when it's throwing a hissy fit. I've dome some MySQL but at the same time never though the tool sets that are graphical. I'm wanting to play with this some more and it's by and large postgre on the back end. http://greenplum.com/community/downloads/
Built my self a mini cluster, it's got a master and a standby master, and 2 data nodes. I was pounding the poor drives in my desktop like crazy so I ended up getting an SSD. I pegged that out but it's still way better than it was.
