Hi all,

I'm in Washington State and I'm probably going to buy a 1998 Provan Tiger GT Astro motorhome from someone in Modesto. . The last step is getting an pre-sale inspection done on the Astro part - cab and chassis - before I go down there to see it in person. I've talked to the current owner's mechanic, who is a man of very few words. Although it seems to be in excellent shape, my motto is "Trust but Verify". Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Modesto who will do this? It's 16' long and only about 72" high with the top down, so should fit on most lifts.

You might have to yelp shops in the area. Probably unlikely in CA but around here getting shops involved with a camper, and especially an older one, can be difficult.
