Yes the AWD light works like the check engine light and you can read the chassis codes from the TCCM with an advanced code reader. I use a bluetooth dongle with the car gauge pro app for android.
Any cheap bluetooth adapter combined with software that reads the extended codes should work for you. There are quite a few options out there, and while I still use Car Gauge Pro, it hasn't been updated in a LONG(2015) time and sometimes will crash on me and I'm sure compatibility will continue to get worse as time goes on.Has anyone ran into this issue before, and might know what the culprit could be? Does the AWD light work just like the check engine light, in terms of being able to read a code to narrow the issue down?
Thanks! I'm going to look around under it after work to see what the issue is. I would think it has to be the same situation.my AWD light came on right after i did my 4" lift. turns out the wire to to transaxle was stretched and tight, causing the connector to be a little loose, After fiddling and removing one wire strap to make the wire looser, the AWD Warning light turned off!
Do you have more information on what you are using to connect your phone to the vehicle?Yes the AWD light works like the check engine light and you can read the chassis codes from the TCCM with an advanced code reader. I use a bluetooth dongle with the car gauge pro app for android.
Definitely possible, fingers crossed!I did get under the van and noticed one of the wires was pulled tight. I unplugged it, removed the plastic piece connecting it to the frame to allow for more slack, and plugged it back in. Maybe it was as simple as that?
