Hi there! I'm in the market for an astro/safari....so I've been trying to do as much research as possible.
So my question is there are years to stay away from? The reason I ask is because I found a pretty good deal on a 1997 astro... But yet both people I've met who have owned this year said they had tons of problems. On top of that I found this article which says to avoid the 1996-1999 models due to inferiority:

I've been stalking this forum for a couple weeks and I know some of you have a few Astros and are very knowledgeable.
