Hi onklp
No onklp, their is no other place to tighten the belt up. Their are a few things that can cause play in the serpentine belt:
-Worn Serpentine Belt (replace the the belt with the correct one)
-Worn Belt Tensioner (replace the tensioner)
-Broken Alternator or Power Steering Pump Bracket (Repair the bracket)
The last one (broken bracket) seems to be a common problem with certain years. Have a good look at both Alternator and Power Steering Pump Brackets to make sure they are tight, in place and not cracked or have bolts missing from them. The first 2 are just part replacements. These 3 areas are the root causes for play in the serpentine belt. I hope this helps. Please keep us updated, Thanks.
PS: Just a thought here as well onklp, is to make sure the belt is being installed correctly, If it's not, then it will cause play as well. Here is a link to how the belt should be installed for your year. Their are a few different ways depending on what accessories you have on the vehicle, Figure #16 at the bottom of the page is for your year in the link I have posted here. Just click on the image to enlarge it.
