I've owned my 89 astro for fifteen years and love her. I transplanted a 350 motor and lowered the suspension. A few years back the dash brake light stayed on at all times when the van was running. I checked for the e-brake sensor and the e-brake is not touching it. When I apply the e-brake pedal the light turns brighter. E-brake works fine. Brake fluid level is fine too. Brakes work fine as always. Then one day the darn light started blinking. Blinks like seven times and stops...blinks seven times and stops...blinks...you got it!
:confused1: Any ideas anybody??

Do you have rear wheel antilock brakes(RWAL)? If so, disconnect the black module on the side of the master cylinder for one minute, then plug it in again. This will clear any codes in that module. If it starts blinking again, you need a new module.(about $100).
