Just for you guys who like the colored look on your callipers a cheap easy way to acheive them is high heat engine paint I did it on my PT Cruiser almost three yrs ago and have not had to touch them up yet. just make sure you clean them really good with brake clean then thinner it will last just as long as that calliper paint and cost a whole lot less and available in many colors... thought I would share that with you.

Ditto on using the high temp paint, I painted them on my old mustang 5 years ago and they were still nice and red when I sold it. :afro:

I know this might sound like a dumb question, but won't the paint hold some the of heat in the caliper causing higher brake fluid temps?
any thoughts? :confused1:

Sounds like a good theory, but it's got to be so minimal. I don't know how the paint the calipers on the cars it comes on stock (corvette, ferrari...etc.). I never noticed any problems after doing it. :afro:
