Hey all,
While replacing the fuel pump today I noticed the baffles in the tank are cracked and broken. The square area the sending unit sits in is still intact, but beyond that, it's cracked & split. Think this is a cause for concern? Should I get in there & remove it all? That would make the gauge rather "active" I'd imagine.

TIA

I gave you a comment in the engine section on this, If you can't fix the baffles then replace the tank. Removing the baffles will cause more problems than what it's worth. Maybe find a good used one at an auto wrecker or something would be my advice. Just my opinion though, I don't like going back into something I worked on a week earlier. Do right the first time for peace of mind. :)
