Has anyone ever used the Carfax reporting process? Was it worth the money ? Seems awful high for one report. I guess it's worth it if you find out something major though....

i always run a car fax report befor i buy a used car , i got had on a car befor and im not big on SALVAGED cars, but i love projects

I had the really bad time with a title in this Empire state(NY) with a trailer that took alittle short of a yr to get straighting out.Interstate titles can be a nightmare.Wouldn't buy anything without a carfax report that covers titles.

Carfax is a good start before purchasing a vehicle, at a minimum to confirm that the title is not a salvage title. Be warned that Carfax only covers things that were reported. So if a vehicle was in an accident and repaired, but never reported to the insurance company, that accident wouldn't be listed on Carfax.

I made sure to get a Carfax report before buying my 2005 Safari.
