Had the check engine light come on this morning and this code came up:

PO 102- master volume airflow sensor

any suggestions on where to start or things to consider going forward? Change the air filter and go from there?

I think that is the MAF mass air flow sensor. You can clean it with brake cleaner. A new air filter will be a good idea. I have been dealing with it for a long time myself. Lots of you. Tube how to video. Not to worry if the video is not Astro.

Awesome thank you for the tip!
Don't use brake cleaner. It's corrosive. They make MAF sensor cleaner that's made specifically to safely clean sensors and electrical connections.
If you spray at the MAF sensor when the sensor is hot or motor running it will burn up the fine wire and you will have to buy a new MAF sensor assembly'
Use only the proper MAF cleaner.
After turning off motor and key is in position. Wait a few minutes then you can spray the inside of the sensor area.
Most likely though you need a new sensor assembly.
