Ive been hearing you guys mention alot about the v-8 chip burn needed to complete a v-8 to 4.3 conversion but im not too computer saavy...I didnt need a chip burn in my 94 s-10 with a chev 350 but i also went with edel torker intake, edel 600cfm, and standard HEI ignition...BUT with this conversion in my astro im using a 89 roller 305 to put into the 87 stro and assume the harness and computer will need to work properly?? I havent got rid of the donor car yet just for the reason i may need the harness and computer plus i havent yanked the crappy trans( supposed to be 700r4,definately not...the cursed METRIC stamped on pan)...I assume i may need to use the caprice computer??

I think is a good site for what you want to do.Sure you could use the donor set-up,but TBIchips might be able to tweak alittle more out for you.

Tci makes a constance pressure valve body that takes away the need for the TV cable adjustment that can be hard sometimes to get right.

sweet...Im glad i got someones feedback i was starting to have second thoughts about putting in the 305TBI...Im eventually going to put in a 350 with a mild cam and my edelbrock carb and intake with HEI ign. but probably not till this summer and was just wanting to get a v-8 in her and get all the bugs worked out before i go hardcore SBC :layrubber:
