Black89CS:is that 386 built on to the board? If so I think I had that board in my first computer! been a long time had an MDA card in it with an amber screen. DOS on it and 4MB RAM.
I believe so. It looks like there's a slot for a co-processor as well. It'd be neat to get running again, but I doubt I could find the hardware to make it work. :(

I laugh at Ikea / knockdown furniture when folks tout the "high quality", it's okay in it's place. I have bookcases from Walmart that are pressboard and tackpaper that are 5 years old. They needed solid wood support for sagging shelves but they are fine for the job they do. Best part was when I moved last year I had no hesitations to hack into them to make them fit in the new space.

Well I can't laugh at a guy for supporting his local economy :D

No wait, maybe I can

;)

What you do with cars, I do with wood. We just work in different mediums

Does that translate? medium= material you work with.

Picked up a PDS Infinity AV at a thrift shop for $20.

Intel 915 mobo
Intel Pentium 4HT @3.2ghz
80gig hd
1gig ram
350w Seasonic psu
no os.

Stuck Windows XP on it, added another gig of Corsair ram, and a RadeonHD 6450. Hooked it up to a brand new 20" Acer monitor too. Happy as can be. It'll get an Ubuntu partition soon, possibly after 12.04 comes out.

just updated to another 4GB ram, got rid of the buggy MSI video card and replaced with two 250 GTS in SLI mode, the SLI bridge here is missing but I recently picked one up and now it works. :D
I still have to buy a SATA expansion card because I ran out of motherboard ports.

My mom has 4 6' book shelves and an entertainment center that I put together back in the mid 80's. They are still like new. Particle board ftw. lol.

Now as far as showing off computers. I will not show mine. I got it in a cubby hole under the desk and the HDMI cords are very tight. If I move it, the 32" monitor will go out.

Lately I've been doing remote control of my desktop with my android tablet. So much fun.
