Ok so i recently added a temp gauge and wired it to the sender in the drivers side head and it wouldnt work, i triple checked the wiring and tested it by grounding the sensor wire, the gauge works.

So i decided today i would unplug the stock wire and drive round with it like it, it made no diffrence to the way it runs,im guessing its dead and thats why the vans drinking fuel like theres no tommorow.

Shouldnt i have a ses light up with the sender disconnected?

Thanks in advance, taff
