Yeah.. I registered for that "home protection" permit for Maryland. I like how they say, "Not Denied" rather than "Approved" when you get your permit.. as if they are admitting that they don't want you to have it. The class that was well worth it but you almost have to get killed before they'll accept your justification for CC permit.
I thought about starting a side business in private investigation or something that deals with cash and then apply for a CC stating that my line of work requires it.

Fanfreakintastic, I missed what got you banished. Don't know, didn't ask and don't care, just glad your back.
I missed the sarcasm and lame wit, you caused me to look up "stuff", like the "stuff" in France.
Look at where we are now. I walk into a bank wearing combat boots,, black bib overalls a black hoodie and a mask! The gal at the counter doesn't blink an eye!!!!
I gave her a check made to cash and my license, she gave me the cash and never asked for me to lower my mask.
This is normal? acceptable???
While working outside this is the way I've dressed for years, when entering any business or home it has been my habit to remove my face covering and my hat in the presence of a female even when it meant showing my static filled bedhead of flyaway hair.
I can understand the masks but to not require a peek at the face you're giving a thousand dollars too??

I service banking equipment. It's been 2 years or so, and I STILL feel weird/uncomfortable wearing a mask and walking into a branch. Everyone at my branches knows me well, but still- you know?

No, I do not have any intention to leave the site/forum and I was / was not surprised I was banned by Astrowill for 2 mos.
I probably would have been better off just simply threatening the posters with death instead of just triggering the wusses.

Being away from "The Forum" and laid up with COPD for about 5 weeks allowed me to do an enormous amount of research into the news of the last 2 years and during the 2 months of my "Banishment".
It is amazing what people MISS and what they PAY ATTENTION TO.
You need only look at the Olympics, race relations and... brace yourself... Trump...
I / we do not use a cell phone, do not do FB, instashit, flip tock, tweeter, fumble, or spoticrap ( nor it's peer blog junk ).
In fact, our password list is 5 items long. Yeah, we use G00gul, but no MS products. Love Libre.
I watch more msnbc, cnn and network news recorded than I watch Fox or Fox Bus. Jeannie hates this.
Online we do this site, Fox, Fox bus and hit the other MSM thru the Fox comments ( they are the only MSM that publishes all comments ).
I cannot believe that most Americans are under the impression that "Thousands" ( 1,000s ) of armed and unarmed Black people die each year at the hand of Police Officers.
It, therefore is ( would be ) very easy to hate, vilify, protest, riot and loot feeling you and your kind are due some attention and / or reparations, and hence, easy to justify not shooting, arresting, prosecuting or incarcerating Black people because THOUSANDS are being indiscriminately shot and killed by COPS.
Then forgotten about...
That is just NOT the case and I do not think it was said enough, if at all, that the RIOTS & the SITUATION our PARTIES are involved in at this moment ( including Jan 6th ) rose from UNARMED GEORGE FLOYD'S DEATH by COP. And of course, the "peaceful civil discourse" that followed.
A cursory look in G00gul, wiki, Wash. Post, NYT, NPR and numerous Gov't. and Biden files will show that from 2010 to 2021, there were 36 to 50 Unarmed black people killed by cops.
That is, in my Opinion, the OTHER big Lie... "Thousands of unarmed black men are dying at the hands of our nation's cops".
At Christmas, I pulled my 2 nephews aside to help me with The Van doors and do some clean up around the shop / garages. I also asked them 2 questions as we were working:
These 2 nephews are heavily involved with work, cars and smartphones as most young adults are.
They are 26 & 30 years old, Bi-racial, but dark as nite, one is slow, one is NOT slow, but a higher performing, affirmative action, passed cuz h's black teaching RN. I do not go to his hospital.
Just as there are a few airlines I will NOT fly. Just happen to know how their "staff" got hired, quotas n' all.
Both of the nephews know "for a fact" that thousands of black guys, "die by the po po every year, we just don't hear about 'em".
They said that, without wincing or blinking. They saw it on their cells...
So, noone has to tell me about DIS and MIS information.
If you get your health info from your phone - you deserve it & all that comes from it.
And they said, "our votes ain't gonna' make no difference anyhow - not this year".

"Not the Bee" is a break off from the above that shows what seems like satire... but they are not.
Real as can be - truth stranger than fiction wins the race every time.
Funniest stuff I have ever read on the net.

In retrospect or rather forspect, mass formation psychosis sounds like how people have been totally hoodwinked by 1st, Trump... 2nd, Congressional democrats... lastly, Covid doctors by themselves without humanity, logic or futurist thought.

Chiming in here with the young phone using millennial perspective. It's common knowledge that misinformation is leading to the downfall of democracy. Everyone knows it... especially 'ol Vlad across the pacific.
We as a country seem incapable of coming to a consensus on what information is false... let alone a solution.
Here is an idea... paying for a better education. Yeah it sucks to pay property tax, but hey at least everyone in this country might someday become literate and get better critical thinking skills. Being a teacher is a shit job right now and it should pay better. The ONLY reason people are staying in school jobs is altruism at this point.
We as a country seem incapable of coming to a consensus on what information is false... let alone a solution.

Something we can agree upon there. The man is a clown. Just as weak of a leader as Joe Biden. Our last two presidents have been a slow compromising geriatric and a complete kook. The sad part is in BOTH elections a majority of the people didn't want either candidate. I voted for who I voted for (given the other option) but I didn't want to. Both parties primary systems are incapable of producing a contender the members prefer.
