Ok well, after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I found these door seals on amazon.

The good thing is you can order 2 and get free shipping.

Came to me 2 days later and are very robust and fit perfectly.

HUGE reduction in sound as you drive, especially at highway speeds.

Hope this is helpful for those who want a super quiet ride on the highway.

Over my monthly 12 hours trips it greatly reduces fatigue and I arrive less exhausted.

(noise is a huge factor in fatigue)

Are these the window weather strips? The bottom of my doors are Rustin g and I susspect its the window weTher strip letting water in. I'm gonna do all the doors with rust converter this weekend and put a stop To the decay but if I can keep the water out in the first place I'm way ahead. All the exterior seals are hard like rock. Gotta be the root of rot, right?

Hmm, not sure about "click", but yes there is a huge difference when closing. They feel way more solid and take more effort to close.

The big thing is the difference in noise at all speeds. Highway sound is several dBs less and way more comfortable. But even around town it is way quieter.

I have yet to find replacement window swipes sparx. Let me know if you discover a source.

Oh and I have a rear door seal that I bought for my 95 but never used. Its for the dual doors (barn doors?) and my van now is a full window (dutch door?) if anyone needs the dual door weatherstrip.

I have never seen replacement outer window weatherstrips at a reasonable price, I could use some on my Tiger. The idea of the more you can keep out the better, but I would think that your drain holes being plugged would be more of an issue for door rot.

$102??? Naa Though I'm sure there is a cheaper alternative, I haven't found it yet.

Yeah, 102 clams seemed nuts to me for the window wipers so that's why I am still searching.
I wonder if they are the same on some of the newer GM vehicles, maybe just need to be cut down some. I would have no problem grabbing some from like a 2010+ truck/suv/whatever, the junk yard probably wouldn't even charge me $1 for them. It's been too long, I'm having withdraws,, must,,, go,,, to,,, junk,,, yard.

Latest update on these weather stripping pieces.

As of now, they are collapsed enough to allow doors to close without slamming them.

THE BAD NEWS. They are letting in as much road noise as the old ones they replaced.

I did some closer examination and found that they are hollow in the tube portion of the seal, whereas the ones I removed (presumeably OEM) had a solid foam core inside the tube.

Now I have to either live with the noise (which I wont) or try to buy a foam rod to stuff in the tube.

Will search home depot for the foam but worse case, living in NYC there is an amazing foam and rubber shop down in Chinatown that I bet has real quality stuff.

I was going to pick up a set of the hollow tubed door seals. I would have thought that they were durable enough to retain their shape, but I guess not. I know the local automotive place carries those foam strips with the sticky backing on it. I wonder if those would be okay to use. I have an issue where the exhaust fumes are coming in through the barn doors since the seals on it are shot.

I bought Metro Moulded for my '04 with dutch doors. I still have a leak. Might try reinstalling the factory seal on the top of the hatch. Driving me nuts. Anybody have The Permanent Solution? I hope not to resort to taping the outside closed.

They leaked from the factory, get used it to it. Also check the 3rd brake light area the seal dries out over time.
