!998 Safari 139000 miles once in a while it will not down shift when coming to a stop it starting to do it more often any ideas changed the oil and filter , replaced the speed sensor still give me the same problem . Any body got any ideas what going on. :?

i dont know if you fixed the problem yet or not. But, I think you might want to test the throttle postion sensor. Or even do you have an electronic trans or one with a tv cable?

No its stil doing once in a while throttle position sensor would that affect it.

More so, if its the electronic trans. Thats why i later asked do you have electronic or tv cable. If its tv cable, you probably need to adjust it.
