Able to score a nos of djm spindles. Installed and put factory springs back in. Did something wrong went on Power Tour and killed my inside shoulder of tire. Never had alignment done with lowering springs thought it would correct with drop spindles. It was actually worse, after 2000 miles and now I need two new front tires and to correct the front end. From looking I left one of the drain holes open when reinstalling springs, have read to cover one and most of other. Does this sound right and would this eat my tire more than lowered springs.

The tip of the spring should just be roughly in between the holes. A slight misalignment between the holes isn't going to make much difference, certainly nowhere near enough to effect the alignment to the point of tire rub.

Also have 235/50/18 and am rubbing the inner fender and splash guard at bottom of fender while turning right worse than left and on the top center with drop spindles. Did not rub with lowering springs slight rub on sway bar only.
