So since i live where emissions do not matter 9,000+ ft. I am removing the pcv valve and running a breather. I have already gutted the charcoal canister when i put in a fuel cell. Will removing the pcv on my valve cover do anything to the fuel mileage or run quality? It runs well for this altitude just seeing what should change once i try firing it up. I was going to cap the lines just as i did with the lines to the efi unti from the canister.

I would leave the PCV valve alone. It helps remove crankcase pressure from your engine among other things. Replacing it with a breather will make it harder to the engine to remove back pressure and negatively impact your power output. After all, we are talking about a daily driver.

bad idea i had a gm product. pcv valve vac line bust so there was no vaccumn going to it and it started leaking oil around the oil pan gasket and front seal cause of the crankcase pressure

So, you can't just put a new hose on it? Leaving it off will affect how the engine runs and dump alot of blowby out. It will smell like you have an exhaust leak. I've driven old cars that had a vent pipe for the crankcase fumes from the engine and it's sickening, there's always smoke under the car.

well its the plastic piece that goes into the valve cover thats broke. From the valve cover to where? I replaced my round air filter assembly with an airraid assembly, does it go into the round air filter assembly or the "throttle body" assembly. should of took a pic before tearing everything up.
