Eliminating PCV VALVE on 87 ASTRO

So since i live where emissions do not matter 9,000+ ft. I am removing the pcv valve and running a breather. I have already gutted the charcoal canister when i put in a fuel cell. Will removing the pcv on my valve cover do anything to the fuel mileage or run quality? It runs well for this altitude just seeing what should change once i try firing it up. I was going to cap the lines just as i did with the lines to the efi unti from the canister.

So, you can't just put a new hose on it? Leaving it off will affect how the engine runs and dump alot of blowby out. It will smell like you have an exhaust leak. I've driven old cars that had a vent pipe for the crankcase fumes from the engine and it's sickening, there's always smoke under the car.
