we just drove through bend for the second time a few days ago! we spent several days there in mid-july as well.

now we're in Portland though.

I wish I was better at posting photos/updates. we're now in the last few days of our trip. I have to be in DC in two weeks to start work. it's been a hell of a ride. I feel like a completely different person from when I started out almost 5 months ago. It's strange; while I was watching the changes in the road, somehow the road was changing me.

and the Astro was the vehicle for such change and y'all made my crazy road trip dream possible. I will never be able to thank you enough.

now I have to make sure the van is ready to go 2500 miles or so in a few days...and I just checked the front suspension and it needs a lot of work. damn.

(also I wasn't able to get a photo of the bridge. we slept at the Vista point several nights, but there were too many cars and I racked up like $30 in tolls at the bridge...oops)

As they say. It is not the destination. It's the journey!
It is a different world when you stop worrying about living. And just live!
You will have some great memories to share through the years.

If your going through Montana on your way back. Stop and look at the stars.
And a fiery sunset over the mountains.
You will never see them the same way again!
Congrats
