My 97 thru a EVAP PO 0446 today.

What the heck is a Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit and where is it located. I guess the valve is bad or a short in the elec. or blockage of the valve ooooooooorrrrr a bad PCM.
I've got no idea of where or how to trouble shoot or fix this one.

Don't panic, bro.... check your gas cap first...if it's not tight, or leaking, it'll throw that code! ( I'm pretty sure it's the one I get when I don't get my cap tight)

THE GAS CAP!!!!! where is that and how do I trouble shoot it

It couldn't be something that simple, could it. It did pass the emission test a couple months ago, maybe I didn't get it on tight last fill up.

I may have the code messed up... I do know a bad gas cap will throw an evap em. code... but try this thread,it might be your fix

That's got me pointed in the right direction. I'll check the gas cap first though.
