hi,

i am in the process of add a battery bank to my Astro and one of the specs i need to find out is how much excess power my alternator makes! i've tried a few google searches but can't find much info on it.

does anyone know what excess of produces? very grateful for any input.

Stock alternator is 105 amps
Upgrade AD244 is 145 amps

Depends on temperature as well as whatever else you have running. If you are installing a lithium battery(the only way I would go these days) you probably want to use a dc to dc charger to limit the current. Your alternator will thank you.
