Don't know about a flip kit but I do know you need the brackets for the steel leafs, you can't use the body to spring brackets that came on your van for the steel leaf springs. I have a set of 2 inch lowering coil springs brand new for sale if your interested. put them in my 89 and it was to low for what I use my van for so 50+ shipping.

That might work, though im not familiar with the early astros. I installed this on my 2000 rwd. Had to do some delicate cutting with the angle grinder cause of the way the leafs are mounted stock required some modding.
