Going to check out this Astro sometime today. Says it doesn't run and he doesn't know why. He wants $350 for it.

yeah.....I figured if I only got the wheels and tires and sold the trans and transfer case it would be worth it.

Crap, that is just what I need, mine is rusting apart here in Ohio.......runs perfect but the body is soon to become a casualty...lol

After seeing this van in person, I think I"ll pass. He never mentioned it had been overheated until I got there. I opened the hood and the belt was off. I'm guessing it blew a head gasket and the water sitting in a cylinder has locked the motor up. I tried turning it by hand and it doesn't budge. The windshield has been leaking and the whole inside is moldy and the whole headliner is falling down. Lots of good parts, but I don't have the space to part one out right now.

Mold is probably one of the worst things to get in a van, and the hardest stuff to get rid of, plus the health problems that come with it. That's to bad, it looked good from the picture. Maybe next time, lots of deals out their now if you have the time to look around.
