Can’t answer your question, but what will you do with the stock GT-4. I might want it. I took a cast iron front diff out of an envoy sent it to Georgia and had a guy put an lsd in it. Many of the parts came off the Astro diff to make the Envoy one a bolt up replacement.
Front diff swap on GT4 possible?

Looking to swap a front diff with GT4 door code (front diff may be different) with a Silverado front diff which would be 3.73 gears. I want to run longer CV axles when I lift with KYB monomax's off of a 1974 k20 and 3" body. Would this be possible? Still less expensive than a SAS!
