My 1994 Astro ext gas door will release,but I have to mess with it to get it to lock.Anyone know how this cable is run and how to get to it??.I am thinking it needs to be lubed.

I should say I did look thru 12 pages of the old site and didn't find anything.

runs inside the van behind the plastic wall and under the carpet good luck getting to it without breaking anything i would soak everything i could see with pb blaster first like the latch itself then the release handle and hope for results mine was doing the same thing i just took off the cable and flip the spring over so it hold it shut instead of poping it open
