If you want to upgrade your tablet, a website called rootzwiki is a great site.. can find useful info on how to.. but warning its addicting. You can upgrade that nexus s to 2.3 it's leaps and bounds over 2.0.. either way.. congrats.. galaxy tab is a great tablet. I am jealous.Shad0wXCalibur said:Got a samsung galaxy tablet 10.1. It was only $300 so thats why I got it. Had just one left. The newer 10.1 had Android 4.0 and was $400. Mine has 3.0. I wasnt going to spend that much extra for a newer version that really is hardly any different. My phone is a Samsung Nexus S with android 2.0 and I love it. It was free when I went to renew my 2 year contract.
Mine keeps having annoying reminders. Upgrades and new features which will self install. There are upgrades like twice a week.bratliff said:Well honestly android has come so far reasons for rooting have really reduced my gnex is rooted and custom rommed but only for extra bells and whistles.. like extra toggles on the lock screen etc.. I used to flash all new stuff all the time now only if a new feature is introduced.
Those tablets are nice, my buddy has one. The devs have android working on them now, if your not going to use it, prob can sell it to get your money back.tedanderson said:I bought one of those HP tablets last year when they were $99 but I never got into it. I can see where it can be more convenient and useful than a laptop but mine is still in the original box.
