Hi all! Newcomer to this forum.Have an 87 Astro LT lowered with 2" drop spindles and flip kit.
The frontend is is restored with new bushings and anti sway bar.
The clearance under lower control arm is only 4 inches.
Is this normal?
I have new MOOG CC640 variable rate coil springs (not yet shortened).
Wheels are 225/60 15.
Do I need bigger tires?

Best Regards Kenneth Melander

A 2" lowered spindle sounds about right for how the lower control arm in the photo is sitting. Here's how mine sat with new front springs at stock height:

The spindle must actually sit 2" higher on the knuckle relative to the other components, which would drop the front of the van 2". Seems accurate.
