Rubber floors are coming along! Hardwood that I had in there rotted!

I used these tiles:

This rubber:

These L track channels:

Learning lessons:
1. Rubber sealant takes a while to harden when layed down 1/4" thick (a full week in some places). I had to use 10 gallons to level the whole floor because It lost so much volume after drying. Next time I would use silicone or some other rubber. Also it gets hard but stays slightly tacky, this is fine since I have a layer of tile on top. Lastly, it is hard to get it super flat but it does smooth out over time with the pressure of the tiles on top.
2. You need 72sqft of rubber tile not 48. You loose a lot in scrap when trimming!

The interlocking mats look great. I used a 3/4 inch horse stall mat. Tough impervious to most things only problem is it’s heavy.

Yea thats why I went with EVA foam backed ones. a LOT lighter and 50% less expensive.
Looks good. Hope you have a new fuel pump in there! tearing all that up and cutting a hole in the floor won't be fun.

Take a look at the first photo! Door included!
Oh nice! Smart man! I wasn't looking hard enough i guess.
Nice, looks like it turned out really well.
Hopefully at some point I'll get to the stage of flooring, prior to this post I'd been looking at foam gym mats but you got me thinking on this.

I haven't installed yet, but what I got to level the back is a sheet of 1/4" Foamular cut into strips to fit in the grooves and some thin lattice to fit inbetween that brings the two level. To hold it in place I'd picked up a gallon of cheap clearance paint at HD, was going to put a layer of paint down, put the pieces in place and paint over them. Figured it would be cheap and easy.

I need new carpet up front too, I'd really like to do the flooring front to back.
Not sure how well the foam I linked or your rubber would be in the curves.

Did you notice any noise reduction with the horse mat installed?
