See. the pics, I have a starcraft shot wheel base 6/7 seats with electric bed in the rear, problem is, although I have those swivel seats just behind the front seats, It seems no matter how I arrange the seating, it's working, it's driving crazy, has anyone had experience of this mad puzzle or any experience of this problem

I think he meant NOT working and driving him crazy...I assume he means he can't put the rear seat down into a bed?

Here is how I have mine set up. Three captain chairs and a raised blow up twin mattress. It's 7 feet long. Still leaves room for the driver seat to fully recline.

A-ha, just saw this post and I had the same bedtime puzzle in mine !! The problem is, the Starcraft conversion has those real thick padded leather seats which are lovely and comfortable, but don't leave you much room to play with when they're in the down position.
However, they will go down into a double bed, took me a while to figure it out though. What you basically do is, swivel the 2 central captain's chairs to face each other (so the seat backs are up against the outside of the van on either side). With the seat which is on the drivers side, this is a bit of a struggle as if you go the way you think you would need to, the armrest collides with the side of the van and prevents it turning. What you do is swivel it through 270 degrees with the back of the chair up as straight as it will go, this means you basically start swivelling it towards the sliding door then go all the way round until it's facing outwards !! (Yes,...really !!). This then allows you to drop the bed down (after removing the headrests) and slide it fully forward until it is really tightly up against the sides of the captains seats. To do this, you need to open the rear doors to allow the bed to swing down and then go forward. With the seat in it's foremost position and flat, you can then shut the rear doors( It's still a bit tight as the 2 cabinets in the rear door squeeze up against the lowered seat back, but a decent shove will compress the padding enough to shut them). That's it, you then have a double bed, your heads go towards the rear of the vehicle and your feet are supported by the lower parts of the 2 central seats. This does leave a small gap in the middle of the bed at your feet area, in the brochure I got with the van it mentions a small table which I presume was original equipment and would fit into this area in some way to complete the bed, but mine is long gone. Doesn't really matter though as there's plenty enough space for 2 people to sleep comfortably and there's still enough space behind the cab chairs to get access to the bed via the sliding door.

I think Starcraft intended it to compete with theRubik's cube......
