Just a quick hello to all out there :D Recently just bought a good friends 96 Safari and eagerly starting to get my hands dirty to get this machine up and running. Body in not to bad of shape actually.. it sat for two years, so I've had to do some minor sanding and stuff. Just to show, but WOW, picture looks hell of a lot better then it really is with morning sun and the tires shined up LOL. Starting to dab at the engine, well that,s a gonna be a whole new ball park for me. Never had a van before, not to much room under the hood is there, ugh. That's why I'm here, stumbled across this board looking up info and gotta say; looks like a great place to be!

Hey Sheldon, welcome.
What was GM thinking when they designed those stock rims? So ugly.

Thank you's for the kind welcome aboard all  Whats wrong with the rims? They do help the tires go round; ..one step at a time, get this baby up to running good mode, body, interior, then new rims. Although, im gonna have to get some all season tires on there first. Winter on there now, and those wont last to long. Sooo hmmm yea maybe just get some cool rims and tires first
