How do I show more than 5 topics on the opening/landing page?

I recommend going to (toolbar at top) click "Topicality" > "Active Topics"
(save this or bookmark it, or add to your favorites)
Make this your new landing page.

Sorry- I lied: I go to "New posts" rather than "Active Topics". It only shows what's been posted since my last log in.
