I have several old photos that are no longer current, not wanted, or just plain terrible pictures.
I would like to clear out some.
I do not see a way to delete a photo in my album.
Probably missing something easy, but I have not found it....
Thanks,

I just looked, I don't seem to have the ability to edit or delete anyone's pics but my own. When I'm in my album I have a button that says "moderate" under each pic, I guess that's because I'm a mod. If I click on it, it gives me the option to edit or delete. I can't say what options users have, I've been a green guy too long to remember.

Thanks guys,
Now I do not feel quite so inept.
I guess I will take that as a positive outcome!

Thanks Chevymaher and Big_kid., for the clue.
I just clicked on 'moderate' and up popped the option to 'delete'.
It worked! Now I can get rid of some old pictures. I certainly do not need all those old pictures taking up space.
If it had said 'edit' or 'modify' or 'options'; I would have tried that, but 'moderate' just did not make any sense, and it did not look like a choice to click on.

:ty:

What is the matter w/ you guys?

DELETE is still there - but you have to have the album displayed.
I will try to do a step by step - look to see if it is the Will's help stuff in Website Concerns.

Album stuff 1.jpg

Step-by-Step:

- go to "USER MENU"
- select "Your photo albums"
- cursor or scroll down to see your pics
- Select your pic "Name:" #### NOT the Pic itself ####
- cursor or scroll down to see the Red Boxed EDIT & the Block Boxed "X"
- Press "X" to delete displayed Pic.

Sixsix,
Thanks for that option. It is another I had not found.
So there are now two routes to the same (photo delete) end.
One seems open the actual photo and provides and then provides an 'Edit' or 'Delete' option'.
The other is to click on the the 'Moderate' under the thumbnail in the album, and you get a 'move', 'edit', delete' option.
Both seem to work. Thanks
We all can learn something if we ask what may appear to be 'dumb' questions. Somebody has nearly always already BTDT.

LOL - quite the surprise there.
I have never seen ( or rather 'noticed' ) that 'blue' item below the pics.
WOW - no wonder they plan to upgrade.

And for those not here before the site screwed up a few years ago.
The Albums used to be different... easier, made more sense, etc.
... and on another vein...
Of course back then, the Chat page/feature had a 'ping' feature, too.

My album will not display. That is what is wrong. In mine 6 pictures show period. No option for the other albums.

Now go through my post above.

Select the album you want to view
When the next screen comes up Select Go To

A painful path that sure needs to get fixed with the update!

Okay yea got it., I had to add a extra step to get to it but once the go to showed it worked. Wow not user freindly.

Sad thing is if you tell them they say it works on our end. Done no more discussion. I bitched about that and they got will in.

That's IT for you. More concerned about Ad revenue. And the Ad companies only care about how many times they can show the same Ad on one page.

At least it is nowhere close to being as bad as ebay now. It is a near weekly relearn to navigate there.
