Hey i'm not to exp. with these eletronic advance distributors so if someone out there can let me know how i should set the timing for the initial start and once running how to adjust the timing if i need to adjust it at all.

turn the crank by hand until top dead center or zero degrees are lined up with the pointer that is mounted on timing cover. pull dist cap off and see where the pointer is in relation to no. 1 plug. it should be in the middle of the pin for no. 1 plug. if it is then you should be ok. if not loosen dist and try to grt the no. 1s lined up. you may need to move the wires one terminal to get things to line up. after that the comp. should take over. :rockon: :2:

This will get you in the neighborhood there should be a tan/black wire that goes from the Dizzy to the computer harness. Pull this and set it to 0 degrees on the timing indicator with a light.
