hey guys i was wondering if on my 94 safari to put in a cd deck hidden like under the drivers seat with a remote and keep my factory radio and just use it for the radio and cassete and when i want to convert to cd just turn the other one on...

is this possible to do or no? and how hard would it be?

just get an FM modulated 6 or 10 disc cd changer, pop it under the seat, wire it up and you're good to go.They're not expensive, and your factory stereo sees it as another FM radio station. It's a really easy install.

I've also seen a mini MP3 player with a fm modulator. - another even easier option (cheaper too).

Why not install a factory CD player? Or get a factory deck that's been modified to have a stereo miniplug input? I've got one of those in my Cavalier and I love it...I get to plug my iPod into the my stereo AND leave the top down because nobody will steal a factory Delco deck :D
