Id make shure that the interior dimer switch has power over the head lamp switch. remove check i think its a pink wire in 91 but not shure the dash dimer fails dash lights fail however you didnt say iluminaton for the gages or dumy lights. sorry about the speeling im tired :sleepy:

oh ok, thats probaley my problem because my headlights went out also, but i tried to replace the switch and i heard a clicking sound when i turned it on, and it started smoking :?

just run a wire off your headlight switch and but a small bulb to light it up, and make a paper cover over it so it wont be bright at your eyes, just on your gauge,,, like this..... hahaha, look at tthe top of the gauge


yes its ugly, but it will work, or you can put a black light on there,,,

This sounds like a major electical meltdown is coming your way. THIS I had happen to me. Lost Tail lights, Dash lights came on when brake pedal depressed, etc... all kinds o wierd stuff. I have now basically rewired Tail lights, Front and back, through my Accessories power feed, (Different switch for Tail Lights) and all is well... I also found that the headlamp switch was all burned up inside the unit itself. They seem pretty cheaply built. This caused a meltdown of wiring behind the headlight switch.

Not always easy to get parts where I live. There is a single 95 parts van at the local wrecker and most of it is stripped.

Check out that Headlamp switch... INSIDE, take the thing apart...
