Has anyone tried installing an isolator switch for the battery to stop the battery being drained out? Which leads to the engine not starting. I've heard this is a good option to solve that problem.

What is causing the drain? I had worked on cars before that appeared to have a drain but upon closer examination, that connectors on the starter were corroded. The corrosion would create a high resistance and more voltage would be required to turn over the starter. That condition would also not let your battery recharge very well.

Installing the isolator switch would get around your problem for the time being, but if the original problem gets worse, you will be working on it again.
