Hey all!
I don't recognize any of the few names I've seen, but I was on the old forum. Took me a while to realize that this was the new home for the same group I had "hung out" with a couple years back.
Anyways, the Astro I had at the time had quit on me, and although I had initially planned on fixing it, those plans never did work out. Since then I've driven a couple different cars, and the last while I haven't had my own vehicle.
Now it appears that I may get my hands on another Astro van for dirt cheap. It's got alot of miles, but it runs and drives quite well. We'll see what happens with it...if I just use it to get around, or if I end up putting some money and work into it.
In the meantime...I hope to be able to spend some time learning, socializing, and maybe occasionally helping out here. I've been out of mechanics for a while, but at the same time I think alot of that is kinda like riding a bike...ya never really forget the basics, at least!
