Jasen, a couple years ago I spilled coffee on my two week old new HP notebook. Had to disassemble and dry out, and it killed a few keys. Ended up ordering replacement keyboard from HP and installing that which worked fine. Best thing is to shut it down, let it dry out or open up to make sure it dries out completely. The things are so fragile, it doesn't take much to short out a few keys it seems. If you have access to another computer you can usually find a service guide or youtube video for you model to replace keyboard. Go/d lvck?

Remove the battery. Turn it upside down and let it dry completely. If that doesn't work, replace the keyboard. They aren't very hard to do.

Good luck,

Keith

not sure if this will work with a keyboard but I once dropped my cell into water and took the battery out and put the whole thing into a bowl of dry rice (uncooked) over night. next day it was back to normal. Rice soaks up all dampness.

Totally though the same thing.

Rice works.

Dry the battery separately.

Have fun!

Pop the keys off and hit them
With a co2 keyboard cleaner. Looks like your keys are double pressing.

Check to make sure the "sticky keys" function wasn't turned on when the missus was cleaning it. I did that once cleaning and it took a while to figure out what was going on.
