about a year ago I added a set of steel leafs from a 2000 Astro so i could tow a small camper without problems and i don't plan on lowering the back end because of that.so if my front end is 28 and the back 30 i can deal with that. Thanks for sharing your views and info. I am glad i did this and found the lower ball joint so loose instead of finding it out on the road.

Ok so I got both sides done but i had to replace all my ball joints due to age, they would have probably been fine but since I notice more play then what I deem safe i bought new moog uppers and lowers. I took some pictures of the van after i did the springs swap. I Have older pics of my van from before the swap if anyone needs/want to see them they are in my gallery.

Now it looks like you just need slightly smaller tires front, and slightly larger tires rear.
At least that's how I would do mine...

2 questions:
1) Since my safari is AWD Does anyone have suggestions on how to achieve the raked look without 2 different diameter tires? That can be an issue with the transfer case I as I understand it.

2) In lieu of that not happening, I am considering at least changing tire widths. Sticking with a 6" rim on the front and wondering if anyone has an idea on the rear? What width works out best without running into the wheel well?

RimsnTires site has a great Tire Size Comparer. Plug in your info and what you'd like, and you get a visual and measured comparison. I've been using them for years on all my Hot Rod Builds.

Hello everyone I decided because we are moving back to NH to put the stock coils back in so if anyone wants to buy the 2 inch lowering coils I just need to part with some stuff-I installed them in my van but the van was never driven since then. I paid 60 plus shipping so my loss is your gain-40 bucks and shipping there yours. It swill be a few days prior to me removing them but if you want them I will pull them out and get you shipping cost when you give me your address. Thanks Mark

If you are going to install lowering springs you may want to install new struts also with an older car. However you may want to let the springs settle 3-4 weeks before doing the alignment.
The price doesnt seem to be out of line.

I am selling the 2" drop springs for 50+shipping I did not like it that low so I removed them. I cut half a coil off the stock springs and reinstalled them.
