I’ve seen all up and down this forum folks recommending this catalytic converter. When I put in the vehicle in the “Make Sure It Fits” situation, it tells me it doesn’t fit.
Vehicle is a 2000 Chevrolet Astro RWD LS with a stock V6.
Could someone confirm wether this cat works on the aforementioned vehicle?

In case anyone comes across this, this catalytic converter worked well for me. It would be out of compliance in NY, CO and CA, so likely why it is not the recommended unit: it does less scrubbing and allows more airflow that the recommended units, but it does scrub and is much better than a straight pipe or leak.

Did the "does it fit" ask for your zip code?..If you put one in from one of those states..I would expect that answer. If your zip isn't from there..try a zip code out of those states(NY,CO,and CA) and ask again.. You might get a "yes"..but it may have to be shipped to somewhere out of one of those states..
