Here's my daily driver, a 1991 Caprice Classic with the cambria roof. 27 mpg highway, 16 city. People tell me I need to get a cheap car. I kinda like driving the living room couch. :lol:

My van is my only ride. But I drove The Skateboard for almost a year when I was living in FL alone with my mother.
It's a '92 Seville. Step on the gas & the little sucker really scoots! Still I was soooooo happy to be back in my van.
Much more comfortable for my arthritis. The Skateboard belonged to my brother at one time. After he passed, my Pop took it. Then my Pop passed & I got it. Now my youngest daughter drives it. She has all sorts of pink flowery fluffy stuff inside it now.

This is my pickup, it has been in the family since new. Originally a diesel but is now a 350 carb, someday I'll get it swapped over to tbi.

This one is my brother's truck that I am taking care of and modifying a bit while he is serving in Iraq (marine reserve). It is '91 regular cab long box, 2wd, 4.3L 5 speed. Hopefully I will get a new transmission in it soon, then 4-6 drop and redone interior.

I never understood the midlife crisis cracks.

Lets follow this through see if it makes sense.
I was young no money, worked went to school to support my family being responsible.
Couldn't afford it.

I made it well enough now to get what I always wanted from day one.
But couldn't have because I was to busy making sure others had what they needed.
I worked hard and I earned it, congrats seems more in order, good job.

Wise words from my own father when he got his firebird. He always wanted a corvette or 65 mustang. And could have had one but us then little guys toys and boy scout camp outs were more important. X-Mas silly stuff.

So I will say it congrats and enjoy your toy.

My Astro IS my mid-life crisis! When I'm not in it, I'm bumming around on one of these bikes.

My '81 Yamaha Maxim 650 that I've had since the early 90's. One of the few things I had before I was married that I still own:

And my more recent ride, a '83 Yamaha Venture that has required a bit of work, which cut into the Astro V-8 funds:

They are a blast to ride around, and once my Astro gets it's V-8 / 5-speed transplant, all my vehicles will be 5-speed manuals!
