I just bought a 1995 Astro cargo van as a replacement for a F-150 pick up. I was looking for something that would still store my "stuff", get a little better mileage, and allow me to park closer to the building when my job moves me to the GM Tech Center in Warren. This little Van should fit the bill nicely. The Van runs out real nice right now, has 141,000 on the Odo & I was skeptical until researching and found this site. After reading thru some of the posts and seeing what kind of support I could look forward too, I pulled the trigger and bought it. I pick it up tomorrow.

I hope I never need any help from here, but it looks like there's a wealth of knowledge here if I do.
Here's some pics:

not really a cargo van but it looks nice anyways. it will definately haul your stuff and keep it safe.
Seems to be a cargo to me, there ain't nothin' behind the seats shown in the pic but a rubber mat. But the seats and carpet make it look Conversion Vanish & it does have alot of options for a cargo van.
Based on what I see, it could be a van meant for a conversion company but got diverted. There are no windows down the drivers side at all and the dutch doors do seem to be an odd choice for a cargo van. I got myself an odd duck!

I hope I will grow to feel the same as Astro355.
27 gallon tank? Oh my god! I was not expecting that! Imagine my surprise when I stopped to fill it for the 1st time yesterday. Is that common?

Here's a pic of the rear interior:

There is a smattering of trim here & there, I wonder if it once had an interior that someone ripped out of it? It does have plastic vapor barriers on the dutch doors.

I mostly haul around my Radio Control cars to the races here and there. All the RC stuff plus tables, EZ-up, chairs, and sometimes a generator takes up room. And having the area heated will help for the wintertime races.

I will probably just panel over the inside of it to cover it up and help insulate it.
