So I was driving home and suddenly she got real loud then when I got home I crawled under and saw that it just like snapped of where the bracket is like right under where the slider door is. Sorry I'm mechanically illiterate but it's towards the front of the muffler where the bracket is. Any help please

I probably wouldn't worry about it if it's just for a few days.

You could get some steel wire (coat hanger or something) and wrap it around the metal rod that supports it (where the rubber hangar is attached) and around the flange that is on the engine side of the break. That should keep it from moving until you bring it somewhere.

Thank you. I can't believe that there are no mufflers in 100 miles of me! I was wondering if she lost back pressure would it do anything to her engine? Shes kinda old and tired but I love her so much ❤ thank you so much for helping

Most decent muffler shops should be able to trim that, and re-weld it, if the pipe is still solid and the muffler is still serviceable.
But depending upon condition, getting a new muffler installed may be the best way to fix it...along with proper hangers.:)

Thank you so very much!! I appreciate it. Thanks for letting me know about the back pressure! And thank you very much about the weld I'm going to see if that's how I can handle it. The pipe is solid and the rest looks good even the hangers are still good. I'm going to try tomorrow!! Any Astro fans in the Lawrenceburg TN area. I really need a good and gentle mechanic to get her fixed up and healthy again ❤

Probably the rear exhaust support rubber hangers are damaged or broken causing the rear muffler and pipe to bounce around and making it fracture / crack in front.
When you get to muffler shop ask them to check them and replace them if stretched or broken.
