I got my new exhaust in! It's a Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler with 3" inlet and dual 2.25" outlets. I bent the pipes myself, and I have to say they look pretty darn sexy!

But just to let you know, this system is not for the faint of heart. I think I pooped just a little, when I first started it up!

I may have to install a glasspack inline, just to knock it down a bit.

I remember comming home past curfew(sp?) with my 66 chevelle with the old style cherry bomb with tail pipes and havin to turn it off down the street and costing home and still getting caught anyways so I could just emagine what it would sound like that cose to the rear end!

Wow, nice job. What type of pipe did you use??

I want to run a dual exit setup also. do you anticipate any problems by running the exhaust pipe so close to the RR shock?

It's just heavy guage exhaust pipe, bent on the mandrel bender at the shop. As far as seeing a lot of welds...I could never figure out how to make several bends on one pipe and have it come to the right spot! So I bent several small pieces and welded 'em up.

And as far as clearance goes, the picture is decieving- there is actually plenty of room around the shocks.

About half an hour ago, when you looked out your window to question that rumbling sound...that was me! :lol:

Seriously though, I'll see what I can do about a vid.

And I got some new tips now- stainless steel oval ones. They're gonna look sweet! I just can't put them on until I repaint it(3 more weeks to finish the body, spray, and detail it!).
