It's been a while since I posted on here, and nothing new has happened on the van. Just been waiting about 8 months for the rest of the bodyparts I dropped off to get painted by my friend (Carbon Fiber hood, side skirts, and cats eye grill). So over the last few months I have gotten a few new projects under my belt. 1. Finished building my workshop 2. Finished building a 1979 Motobecane 3. Bought a 1971 Morris Mini from Great Britain. These things have kept me plenty busy, here is some pictures:

My new workshop

1979 Motobecane, I made the gas tank, exhaust, headlight, taillight, new carb, intake, semi-slick tires, painted flat black, and finished off with red pinstripes.

1971 Morris Mini, 1275 Motor, 4 speed, new carb, stainless steel exhaust, 13x7" rims, 5 gallon fuel tank! I have a roll cage on its way with a lot of other goodies. This picture was taken last weekend at Skyline Drive in VA.

Parked next to a new Mini Cooper

Thought you might enjoy the pictures, and the Mini is a huge difference then driving the van, especially since it's RHD! :layrubber:

Gtkane, are you going for a classic look, or are you going to do anything custom to it? Bagged, dropped, shaved, etc? Looks like a run project. The mini has been a great project so far, I am glad it's so simple but I def have a few things to sort out on it. Yesterday it started leaking oil big time from the shifter rod, looks like the seal went bad on it, and of course I got to wait 9 days to get the part here. Oh well. But today the full cage comes in, will be welding it in hopefully tomorrow night.

Ive already chopped the top 5 inches, took 39 inches out of the length, removed the rear doors, and widened the cowl by 4 inches.
This weekend, I'm channeling it over an S-10 frame. Then comes a 4 foot box. Should be a cool extended cab pick-up when it's done.
What can I say, everything I build turns into a truck!

LoL, I am starting to notice your truck theme. Mine is starting to turn into smaller and smaller projects. Everything was smooth up until 2 days ago the mini's shifter rod seal blew, now it's leaking oil all over the place. So now it's sitting at home till the new seal kit comes in. Tonight I am putting in the 4 point cage with diagonal bar, quick shift kit, air horns, internal bonnet release, seat extensions, and dynamating some more. Should be a fun weekend. Starting to get cold outside!

I like it, what are you running for a mill.
I've got a buddy that's been prepping a 26 Chevy for paint.

I ended up re-painting the 73 and dropping in a 1293 stage 2 engine and gearbox + a whole lot of other stuff.

I ended up with this. And sold it a few months ago to a local guy and bought my next project.

Sold the van and bought a Blazer Xtreme and a 1973 Mini Clubman Estate from England and had it shipped here.

Built this little bike while I was waiting those few months for it to arrive.

Here is a picture from Thanksgiving weekend on the "Turkey Run." Blew the headgasket on the trip home and now it is sitting in my car port waiting for the new gasket set. Going to be swapping the motor in a few weeks. And then in a few months will be swapping the entire drive train to a Honda B16a2....
