i'm going to ditch the TBI &computer from my 92 astro & am in need of a few parts from an early astro (85 is the only year they put a carb on a 4.3 in the astro ) . i need the intake manifold , carb , distributer , throttle &TV cable bracket , basicly the whole top of the motor minus heads . if anyone has an older astro with these parts they want to part out & sell please let me know , or if anybody knows of them in a junk yard near them i'll pay you for your time , no yards here have an 85 astro & i'm really not sure what other vehicles came with a carbed 4.3 .

The "Carbed" 4.3's were produced for the first 6 month of the Astro run! After that they were injected. It will be very hard to find what you are looking for. I too had a 1985 Carbed astro, but got rid of it 5 years ago with 240K miles on it. Served me quite well, I might add.
