Greetings fellow Astro van folks,

I have a 1999 Astro w/ 116,000 mi and a power door lock problem. It seems that none of the power door locks will open (or close) using the power lock/unlock button on the driver or passenger door. However, all doors (except rear hatch) will lock/unlock with the remote. I've tested each lock for voltage and found none present. I am assuming that because the locks work with the remote it may be the lock control module at fault ( the remote has a separate control module..right?) but I don't know where to find it. Where is the module located and am I on the right track? I hear this is a common problem in these vehicles, so any help would be appreciated. :think:

First thing to check is the wires in the door jamb. Probably a busted one in there.

Welcome to the Forum

As gtkane has mentioned, check the drivers door harness first.

The Door Lock Relay and Module are located in the RH Kick Panel.
